How Digital Virgo enables powerful monetization ecosystems in Africa

During AfricaCom we met with Guillaume Briche to discuss the progress and the achievements of Digital Virgo along with their future ambitions for Africa.

During AfricaCom, TechAfrica News had the opportunity to meet with Guillaume Briche, the Chief Executive Officer at Digital Virgo. Our discussion followed the progress and the achievements of Digital Virgo along with their future ambitions for Africa.

Digital Virgo Group is one of the leading fintech specialists across the globe. Their specialty lies in connecting merchants to carriers with their seamless transnational channel in digitalizing mobile payments. With 14 years of experience, they have been able to help the African people access goods, services, and content.

Mr Briche gave us in-depth insight into their operation in Africa, their success stories in gaming and music collaborations, and how they have managed to bring access to an additional 25 million Africans in 2022. He also reiterated that creating a synergy between the merchants and various telcos is their top priority.

We are very amble in the way we see the future, and we can also develop new services and bring new merchants into all the territories where we are operating. Also, there is a significant expansion of usage, which includes 4G, and 5G, that will allow increasing the use of videos and games. This is going only to develop all the business we are doing now.

Guillaume Briche, the Chief Executive Officer, Digital Virgo
