Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim Al-Terras, head of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressed the implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to enhance the state’s plan for digital transformation using the latest technologies and smart applications, as well as implementing a sophisticated technological infrastructure in Egypt and expanding digital services in Africa and the Middle East, according to the vision Egypt 2030
This came during the signing of an agreement for joint cooperation between Arab Industrialization and Bunya Company, in the presence of Eng. Ahmed Makki, Chairman and CEO of Benya Company.
In this regard, Al-Terras praised Benya company, for its pioneering role in the field of transfer and localization of digital technology in the telecommunications and information technology sectors, as well as the development and modernization of technological infrastructure in Egypt, the African region and the Middle East.
“We aim to establish a national industry that meets the needs of the local market of metal towers for the telecommunications and electricity sectors, as well as camouflage and decoration works for communication towers to keep pace with modern designs for smart cities to meet the needs of development projects inside Egypt, in addition to opening export outlets for the African region and the Middle East.”

He added that the establishment of this specialized entity provides many job opportunities for young engineers and technicians and training on the latest technology for designing, manufacturing and operating metal towers in accordance with the standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The head of the Arab Organization for Industrialization also referred to the agreement on joint cooperation in the fields of scientific research and artificial intelligence, stressing the importance of building human capabilities and training technical cadres according to the latest modern technology in this specialized industrial field to serve the needs of the telecommunications and electricity sector.
For his part, Eng. Ahmed Makki, Chairman and CEO of Benya, confirmed that signing this agreement confirms the importance of the partnership with the Arab Organization for Industrialization in introducing the latest ICT infrastructure services technologies in Egypt, Africa and the Middle East, as well as providing and operating solutions. The designs will be able to cover four or more operators at the same time, so that all networks in Egypt can be covered, through smart digital production lines to meet the needs of the local market of this type of towers and export to the African and Arab region.
