Airtel’s 5G Powers NextWowzi Platform, Aiming to Generate 1.5 Million Youth Jobs in Uganda

Airtel Uganda’s 5G technology collaborates with NextWowzi to connect influencers with brands, generating jobs.

Naguru Airtel 5G powers Next Wowzi plan to create 1.5 million jobs for Uganda’s youth. Yesterday, Airtel, Uganda’s first 5G network joined Next Media and the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance to launch the NextWowzi platform.

The NextWowzi platform will connect influencers with top brands, and utilize advanced analytics to create over 1.5 million jobs over the next five years.

There is a problem with getting these jobs. It is hard to connect these people to jobs. Today, the middle man is cut, it is your phone connecting you. We are creating with boda riders, campuses and women in the markets as long as you have internet. Airtel Uganda has launched #Airtel5G, and we want to plug in.

The Chief Guest Rt. Hon Justine Kasule Lumumba the Minister for General Duties while speaking at the launch said that ICT is a beacon of hope as It remains one of the critical rivers where Government can pull and unlock the potential of youth.
