Safaricom Launches MyCounty App in Makueni County

Safaricom has launched its MyCounty App in Makueni County. The app is aiming to enable digitisation of services in all 47 counties.

Safaricom has announced the launch of MyCounty App in Makueni County. A digital platform that enables all 47 counties to digitise all their services in one place providing a single channel for citizens to access.

The platform will include payment for county services, revenue management systems, a citizen reporting and engagement tool and solutions around agriculture, health, utility bills and SME programs.

Today is about transforming lives. Success comes from being close to our customers and how we conduct our business. We have a role to improve the way our customers live their lives.

The myCounty App enables you avoid physical visits to county offices for manual payments, therefore saving you time and the hassle for travel. Going digital will also highly cut out the “middlemen” in the name of facilitating one to access services.

As part of accessing all county services in one place you will not need to remember all the different county PayBills as they are now incorporated in the myCounty app payment journey.

Tools on the myCounty app such as Sema na Governor will enable immediate feedback from the residents translating to faster resolutions and more effective delivery.

We intend to roll out myCounty App to all 47 counties in the coming months. The app is available on Android and iPhone, through the M-PESA Mini App and a web portal. Services in Makueni County will also be available under the *838# short code.
