The company confirmed that shareholders approved the resolution to change its name and amend its Memorandum of Incorporation earlier this month.

Blue Label Telecoms Limited  has finalised its rebranding and will trade on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) under the new name Blu Label Unlimited Group Limited from Wednesday, 3 September 2025.

The company confirmed that shareholders approved the resolution to change its name and amend its Memorandum of Incorporation earlier this month. The special resolutions have since been accepted and filed by the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC).

From 3 September, the company’s JSE long name will change to Blu Label Unlimited Group Limited and its short name to Blu. However, the share code (BLU) and ISIN (ZAE000109088) will remain the same, preserving its market history and continuity for investors.

The last day to trade under the name Blue Label Telecoms Limited will be Tuesday, 2 September. The record date for the name change is set for Friday, 5 September, after which both dematerialised and certificated shareholders will see their accounts updated to reflect the new company name on Monday, 8 September.

The company stated that the new identity marks the continuation of its journey while retaining its established presence on the market.
