According to surfaced reports, Visa has reportedly granted Safaricom Plc a Payment Facilitator Certificate. This milestone potentially marks a new chapter in the collaboration between the two industry leaders and opens avenues for Safaricom to broaden its merchant payment capabilities.
With this certification, more than 600,000 Safaricom merchants will potentially be able to accept card payments via Visa’s advanced CyberSource Payment Gateway.
