The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has reportedly introduced new Quality of Service (QoS) Regulations 2024 aimed at enhancing the performance and reliability of telecommunications services across Nigeria. According to the reports, the updated regulations outline specific key performance indicators (KPIs) that telecommunications companies must adhere to, covering various network segments including 2G, 3G, and 4G.
The QoS Regulations 2024 reportedly set precise parameters to monitor and improve service quality. Key metrics include Drop Call Rates, Call Setup Success Rates, and Traffic Congestion levels, among others. These indicators are designed to ensure that service providers deliver consistent and high-quality connectivity to users, addressing common issues such as call dropouts and network congestion.
