The five-year MoU focuses on enhancing children’s cybersecurity awareness through public education initiatives.

The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MICT) and LifeLine/ChildLine Namibia signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today in Windhoek to collaborate on cybersecurity awareness and public education, with a special focus on children.

This partnership aims to enhance public cybersecurity education through initiatives spearheaded by LifeLine/ChildLine Namibia. The focus will be on equipping children with the necessary knowledge to navigate the digital world safely.

LifeLine/ChildLine Namibia will complement our ongoing efforts, and we look forward to working with these institutions for the betterment of our citizens. Cybersecurity requires concerted efforts from all sectors, and we call on others to join the government in building a cyber-resilient nation.

Dr. Audrin Mathe, Executive Director, MICT
