Dr. ‘Bosun Tijani, the Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy for the Federal Republic of Nigeria, recently took to X to reflect on his first year in office. He expressed pride in the significant strides made under his leadership in laying the groundwork for Nigeria’s growing digital economy.
Dr. Tijani highlighted the alignment of the Ministry’s Strategic Blueprint with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, emphasizing how this cohesion has enabled the Ministry to deliver innovative projects, programmes, and policies designed to drive digital growth. Acknowledging the collaborative effort across the Federal Ministry and its various departments and agencies, the Minister expressed gratitude to his team for their dedication.
Dr. Tijani also talked about the 3 Million Technical Talent programme, which is positioned as the largest talent accelerator in the world. The program aims to develop a robust pipeline of technical talent within Nigeria, equipping the nation with the skilled workforce needed to sustain its digital economy.
