Orange Sees Robust Growth in Africa and Middle East with Strong Mid-Year Results

Orange’s H1 2024 results show a 10.3% revenue increase in Africa and the Middle East.

Orange has released its consolidated financial results for the six months ending June 30, 2024, showcasing a robust performance under its “Lead the Future” strategic plan. The company’s financial results confirm its full-year 2024 guidance, underscoring significant achievements across its four strategic pillars.

The second quarter of 2024 saw accelerated EBITDAaL growth, reflecting strong cash flow generation in the first half of the year. Notably, Orange’s Africa and Middle East operations emerged as a primary growth driver, with revenues climbing by 10.3% or 177 million euros. This growth is fueled by impressive performances across key segments: mobile data (+17.9%), fixed broadband (+19.2%), Orange Money (+18.9%), and B2B services (+14.5%).

These results highlight Orange’s successful execution of its strategic goals and its significant impact in expanding its footprint and revenue in the Africa and Middle East regions.
