MTN Ghana CEO Meets South African Minister at AU Session

MTN Ghana’s CEO discusses continued investment and socio-economic development with South African Minister in Accra.

In a significant move to bolster international relations and support for socio-economic development, MTN Ghana’s CEO, Stephen Blewett, met with South African Minister of Department of International Relations and Cooperation, Honourable Ronald Lamola. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 45th Ordinary Session of the African Union (AU) Executive Council in Accra.

During the meeting, Minister Lamola congratulated MTN on its substantial investments and unwavering commitment to Ghana. He highlighted the importance of continued investment in socio-economic development programs and digital solutions that benefit the Ghanaian people. The Minister also praised the impactful initiatives of the MTN Foundation and the Y’ello Care activities, which have significantly contributed to the community.

As MTN Ghana celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, Stephen Blewett reaffirmed the company’s dedication to empowering Ghanaian youth, bridging the digital divide, and accelerating sustainable development.
