CRAN Hosts Dinner Honoring African Telecommunications Union’s Collaborative Efforts

CRAN celebrates ATU’s role in advancing African telecommunications, supported by MICT and MTC’s contributions.

The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (CRAN) recently held a distinguished dinner event in honor of the African Telecommunications Union (ATU). This significant gathering celebrated the collective efforts and unity driving the advancement of telecommunications across Africa.

Ms. Ronel Le Grange, Executive: Engineering and Technical Services at CRAN, expressed her deep gratitude for the collaboration that has been instrumental in connecting the continent to the rest of the world. She highlighted the substantial progress made in fostering innovation and promoting digital inclusion, emphasizing the importance of these strides in achieving a connected Africa.

The evening was made possible by the generous support of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MICT), who sponsored the event, and Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC), who provided super-fast internet connectivity and SIM cards. Their contributions underscored the collaborative spirit that is essential to the continued growth and development of Africa’s telecommunications sector.
