Airtel Business Africa Expands Connectivity with Nxtra Africa and Telesonic

Airtel Business Africa enhances connectivity across 14 markets with Telesonic’s data solutions and Nxtra Africa’s data centers.

Airtel’s extensive network spans 75,000 kilometers of fiber, includes 15 submarine cable capacities, and features over 90 MPLS and IP PoPs, connecting more than 2,700 partners. In addition, Airtel’s comprehensive subsea cable network serves the African continent and the Middle East region through strategic partnerships with two submarine cable systems.

Following the launch of Nxtra Africa, Africa’s largest connected data center, Airtel is offering over 1,000,000 square feet of space, 180 MW capacity, and 48 edge data centers. Starting in Lagos and expanding to Nairobi and beyond, Nxtra Africa provides scalable, secure, and sustainable data solutions.
