Cisco Unveils Cybersecurity Training Centre at University of Nairobi

Cisco announces a new center at the University of Nairobi to train learners in essential cybersecurity skills.

At the AmCham Business Summit in Kenya, Cisco revealed plans for its Cybersecurity Training and Experience Centre at the University of Nairobi.

Francine Katsoudas, Executive Vice President of Cisco, detailed the center’s purpose during a press conference hosted by Digital Transformation with Africa (DTA). The center aims to serve as a collaborative platform, providing governments and businesses with the necessary architecture and technology to navigate complex cyber threats.

Additionally, it will offer cybersecurity training through the Cisco Networking Academy to enhance employability in Kenya.
