In a significant move toward agricultural innovation and rural economic development, the Kenya Development Corporation (KDC) and United Green have formalized their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This strategic partnership aims to introduce cutting-edge agri-fin-tech services, implement high-productivity climate-smart farming practices, and establish state-of-the-art agro-processing facilities.
Over the next five years, the initiative is projected to create 2,000 direct jobs and open new markets for a minimum of 100,000 rural households.
The partnership’s commitment to establishing modern agro-processing facilities is poised to contribute not only to job creation but also to the overall growth of the agricultural value chain. By fostering innovation and creating employment opportunities, this collaboration sets the stage for transformative changes in Kenya’s agricultural landscape.
