Smart Africa marked the successful conclusion of its 17th Steering Committee meeting, held alongside MWC Kigali. The event saw the participation of over 100 delegates from 19 member states, both in person and online.
The committee officially ratified the 2024 action plan and budget, alongside the initiation of phase 2 of the Smart Africa Digital Academy (SADA) scale-up project. Additionally, several other significant resolutions were adopted during the proceedings, emphasizing the organization’s commitment to advancing digital transformation across the continent.
This pivotal gathering underscores Smart Africa’s dedication to harnessing technology for the betterment of member states.
