Driven by its Ambition 2025 strategy, MTN set a goal to reach a 50% gender parity by 2025. Remarkably, the company concluded 2022 with 49% female employees, surpassing its 2025 objective by 1% within a year.
Beyond achieving gender equilibrium, MTN Uganda, recognized as one of the nation’s premier employers by the Federation of Uganda Employers, is prioritizing the advancement of women in managerial roles. Presently, the company boasts 38% of women in Senior Executive Leadership positions and 36% in Leadership roles.
