Tmcel Launches Advanced Post-Paid Internet Packages for Unserved Areas in Mozambique

Tmcel introduces MaxTurbo, offering post-paid Internet packages with LTE for unserved areas in Mozambique.

Tmcel Moçambique Telecom S.A. has introduced “MaxTurbo,” a post-paid Internet service catering to residential customers in areas without fiber optic coverage. The solution utilizes the LTE network (4.5G) in conjunction with a modem at the customer’s residence to offer limited and unlimited Internet access through an advanced wireless broadband setup.

With “MaxTurbo,” customers enjoy priority on the network for both upload and download at a fixed cost, eliminating additional charges. The product features various packages, including limited options with the possibility to purchase additional data volumes through the customer line or Tmcel stores if the contracted data is exhausted.

The service’s minimum monthly cost is 700 meticais, excluding the modem (LTE/4.5G), which is available for purchase at Tmcel stores. The initiative aims to address the growing demand for reliable Internet services, providing large capacities to residential users in areas where fiber optic coverage is not yet available. By leveraging the LTE network and modern wireless broadband technology, Tmcel seeks to offer efficient and cost-effective connectivity solutions to its customers.
