MwareTV, a leading cloud-based multi-tenant TV platform provider has formed a partnership with PikoTV to offer a complete, cloud-hosted service to deliver and manage a rich live TV channel offering available across multiple end-user devices.
PikoTV, based in Istanbul, Turkey, which specialises in broadcast headend solutions for streaming services, offers a wide range of software solutions for key streaming requirements including encoders, transcoders, and packagers to Tier-1 service providers with a compact hardware footprint and easy to use UI.
MwareTV has a proven and successful turnkey managed IPTV service and provides a complete TV management system (TVMS) to run a full-scale IPTV service, with all the control available via an intuitive web browser interface. It also provides the ability to quickly brand and tailor the subscriber experience, with white label apps for iOS, Android, Apple TV, FireTV, Roku, and Samsung and LG smart TVs, and a powerful AppBuilder, which allows designers to create unique, easy to use interfaces with no knowledge of coding.
The partnership provides a complete end-to-end solution which runs entirely in the cloud, so minimises start-up costs and ensures opex is tied directly to revenues. PikoTV will offer the complete solution to their customer base.
We first met PikoTV at NAB in 2022. We very quickly saw that we could combine PikoTV’s transcoding solutions and MwareTV’s IPTV OTT middleware that PikoTV needed for their many clients. Since then, we have worked closely together to ensure a seamless integration of our systems so that end users can seize the benefits of launching and maintaining a comprehensive service.

We are excited to be able to offer MwareTV to our customers. They share the same approach that we do, aiming for simplicity in implementation and operation, full scalability to meet the users’ needs precisely, and of course ensuring that they remain in control of their budgets, with costs tracking the number of subscribers and therefore users. This will be a great partnership.
