Airtel Money to Maintain its “Big Cut” on Transaction Charges

In an effort to increase interoperability in Africa, Airtel Money has said that they’re going to maintain the 95% cut on transaction charges.

Airtel Mobile Commerce Uganda Limited has announced that they are going to be maintaining its 95% cut on transaction charges on sending money to other networks.

Interoperability has been a challenge to the growth of digital financial inclusion. We made a pledge to build a sustainable business that shares value within the community. Therefore, it is on the above grounds that we have decided to maintain our ‘big cut’ on transaction charges to not only appreciate our customers but also deliver on our commitment to building Uganda and Africa, our home.
