stc Group, the leading digital enabler in the region, and Go Telecom Company (Etihad Atheeb) signed a cooperation agreement to provide Internet of Things (IoT) services using the stc Group network, with the aim of empowering the individual and corporate sector and promoting sustainable growth.
The agreement will enable Go Telecom to serve its customers and meet the increasing demand in this field, especially since this technology has become an essential enabler for technical expansion and business development, as services are provided through wide coverage of networks, especially fifth generation technologies (5G) and low broadband. Mohammed Al-Abadi, CEO of the Carriers and Operators Unit of stc Group, expressed his happiness at strengthening the partnership with Go Telecom, as this agreement is a new addition confirming the group’s leadership in enabling virtual network operators in the Kingdom, in order to develop services in all sectors benefiting from technologies and services. The Internet of Things is part of the group’s efforts to support the digital transformation process in the Kingdom.
