We also discussed how we can support the county governments in engaging with their communities through the Safaricom Foundation and M-PESA Foundation in the areas of health, education and economic empowerment.

We are keen to support these counties in digitizing their processes especially on the payment side, and we have agreed on the way forward. Supporting sports was also a key discussion especially in athletics and how we can encourage and nurture a new generation of marathoners.
