TWAL Completes the Acquisition of Communication Towers in King Abdullah Economic City

TWAL has announced that they have completed the acquisition of communication towers in King Abdullah Economic City and signed a strategic partnership with it.

TWAL, the leading Saudi company in the field of communications and information technology infrastructure, and King Abdullah Economic City, an emerging destination on the Red Sea coast, have signed a strategic partnership agreement, under which TAWAL will become the strategic partner to provide telecom network solutions within the city. This agreement is expected to contribute to Improving the coverage of telecommunication networks and enhancing their efficiency within the city, by applying the best practices and international standards followed in this field.

Also, under this agreement, TWAL will acquire all of the city’s owned towers and indoor coverage sites (IBS), in order to manage and operate them with telecom service providers.

The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the “Future Investment Initiative”, which will be held in Riyadh from 25 to 27 October, in the presence of the CEO of Twal Company, Eng. Mohammed Al-Haqbani, and the CEO of King Abdullah Economic City, Mr. Cyril Bayaya.

On this occasion, Eng. Muhammad Al-Haqbani, CEO of Twal Company, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the management of King Abdullah Economic City, noting that this partnership reflects the importance of the services provided by the company and contributes to strengthening its strategy to expand the scope of its geographical operations to include all regions of the Kingdom.
