Rwanda Space Agency Signs an MoU with the GSOA

The Rwanda Space Agency has announced that they have signed an MoU with the Global Satellite Operator’s Association.

In a recent announcement, the Rwandan Space Agency disclosed that they have signed an MoU with the Global Satellite Operator’s Association towards advancing satellite communication services.

Therefore, we are responsible as operators for promoting satellite communications to connect every part of Africa. There are few regional satellite services sharing initiatives in Africa, and its harmonisation is wrong. The issue of affordability also needs to be discussed and considered as a tool for penetration. Another equally critical aspect is spectrum allocation and protection to ensure that it is used for the right purposes.
