BNET, the national telecommunications infrastructure company, announced a number of new appointments set to join the company’s executive team. The appointments will see Eng. Adel AlShowaikh as Director of Passive Access Network, Mr. Ebrahim Abusaqer as Director of Financial Planning & Reporting, and Mr. Ammar AlAamer as Director of Digital Operations at BNET.

Eng. Adel AlShowaikh brings more than 30 years of experience in the field of Telecommunications, Regulatory Consultancy and Civil Engineering, where he held the position of Manager Telecommunications Access & Infrastructure at the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA). Eng. Adel holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Baghdad, Iraq.

Mr. Ebrahim Abusaqer brings over 18 years of experience from the banking sector, during which he held several positions. Mr. Ebrahim joined BNET from the National Bank of Bahrain where he was the Relationship Manager of Commercial Banking & SME, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Bahrain in addition to specialized degrees in the corporate finance field. Upon joining BNET, Mr. Ebrahim stated: “It gives me great pleasure to be joining BNET, a company who has been able to have a significant impact on the market, despite the fact that it has only been two and a half years since its establishment. I look forward to being a part of its upcoming growth and development.”
Mr. Ammar AlAamer is an experienced team leader with more than 14 years of experience as a software developer. Mr. Ammar holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from AMA International University, In addition to many other certifications in the field of technology. Mr. Ammar previously held a position as Head of Systems Development in the Information and e-Government Authority. Commenting on his new appointment, Mr. Ammar said: “I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to BNET’s executive team, and look forward to working closely with the company’s employees to achieve further success and prosperity.”
