Following the announcement of the exit of Raghunath Mandava as the CEO, Segun Ogunsanya has finally taken over as the new CEO of Airtel Africa.

Olusegun Segun Ogunsanya has finally taken his position as the new CEO of Airtel Africa following the exit of Raghunath Mandava. Airtel Africa took to social media to announce the news.

Segun is making it his mission to build on the solid foundation the Group has established for sustainable growth across Africa.

Before Airtel Africa’s announcement, Raghunath Mandava announced the update of his formal exit from the position.

As I sign off from my role as CEO Airtel Africa PLC on 30th September, 2021. I have completed five and a half years with Airtel Africa and 18 total years with the Bharti Group. This journey has been filled with personal growth and evolution.

I intend to take a break in Nairobi for a year and then move to Bangalore. I hope to spend my time between a social enterprise I am still finalising, and consultancy .
