StarTimes Impacts 400 Villages with its Satellite TV Project in Uganda

In their effort to positively impact the rural population with the satelite TV, StarTimes has reached an additional 400 villages in its 2nd phase of operations.

In a recent announcement, StarTimes, has disclosed that it has completed the second phase of its Uganda satellite TV project with the project reaching an additional 400 villages in Uganda.

Connecting villages is reported to start this month and to end before December 25th. Homes, public places, schools and offices are to be connected with satellite television sets.

With the first phase of the project reach about 500 villages and approximately 500,000 people. In the first phase StarTimes trained local engineers to help the local population with the installation.
