TelkomONE Introduces a Free Catch-Up Service for its Users

Telkom has introduced a free catch-up service for its users. This essentially means that they have access to recorded versions of their favorite programs on demand.

Telkom has introduced a free catch-up service on its video-streaming platform across its SABC in South Africa. Catch-up is a system where one’s favorite programs can be recorded and can be made available on demand.

TelkomONE users can use their Laptops, and mobiles to watch a variety of channels including any SABC 1, 2, 3, SABC Sport or SABC Education shows, or any other free channels.

“You can’t get much better value by providing a zero-cost catch-up service across already-free streaming channels. TelkomONE’s vision is to provide the widest selection of content, at the most affordable price, and backed by unmatched functionality. Scarcely six months after launch, we believe we’re delivering on all fronts and the viewer is the winner. While there’s plenty to catch up across TelkomONE’s free TV channel and SABC offering, there is also a growing catalogue of local TV ‘box set’ shows, expected to exceed 1 200 hours in the coming weeks. SABC is, of course, also one of the continent’s leading content producers.”
