Zain Bahrain, a leading telecommunication operator in the Kingdom, has signed a cooperation agreement with the Bahrain Society for Training & Development; via the Zoom online platform. With this initiative, Zain Bahrain aims to increase training and employment opportunities for young females in various departments of the company through the “Zain Youth Empowerment” program. In alignment with Zain Bahrain’s women advancement strategy, the program is designed to provide work exposure and empower Bahraini young females with the latest skills inspired by the World Economic Forum 2025 with a focus to enhance the skills and create a competitive future workforce that contributes directly to Bahrain’s Vision 2030.
The partnership was signed by Sheikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa, Director, Communication & Investor Relations at Zain Bahrain, and Mr. Ahmed Mahmoud Attia, Chairman of the Bahrain Society for Training & Development (BSTD). Mr. Ahmed Mahmoud Attia, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the BSTD, expressed appreciation for the efforts made by Zain Bahrain and their confidence in the association. He welcomed the idea of the pioneering program that confirms the level of the distinguished programs launched by Zain Bahrain to empower Bahraini youth.
“The idea of encouraging young females to join the program will contribute to achieving equal opportunity and gender balance, especially since the program focuses on the undergraduate and graduate categories, which challenges Bahraini females to achieve a balance between work, study, and social life. This is fully consistent with the goals of Zain in developing the skills of females and youth in a manner that contributes to supporting the vision and direction of wise leadership.”Mr. Ahmed Mahmoud Attia, Chairman of the Board of Directors, BSTD
