Public broadcaster RTI rolls out new TV channel in Ivory Coast

Public broadcaster RTI has launched its brand-new television channel, RTI 3. Radio Télévision Ivoirienne (RTI) launched the channel, which will start broadcasting on February 16.

The Ivorian Prime Minister, Amadou Gon Coulibaly inaugurated the third channel RTI3. The head of government was accompanied by Sidi Touré, Minister of Communication and Media as well as the director general of the RTI, Fausséni Dembélé.

With the start of the activities of “RTI 3”, Amadou Gon Coulibaly also hailed the opportunity which is offered to around 70 young people to get their first job.

The new channel will join the New Ivorian Channel (NCI) and A +, as soon as its programs are launched, on the Ivorian digital television platform.
